Biography

CCM duo Watermark comprised the husband-and-wife duo of Nathan and Christy Nockles; originally dubbed Watershed, they built a strong cult following in their native Houston before earning national recognition in 1998 opening for Point of Grace. Upon renaming themselves Watermark and signing to Rocketown, the duo issued their self-titled debut in the fall of 1998; the LP was reissued early the following year on Epic. The acoustic-based All Things New arrived in mid-2000. Watermark spent the next two years dealing with change. They shaped up their typically pop sound for strict, sophisticated melodies. They also started a family. A third album Constant, which was released in early 2002, reflected Watermark's newfound glow.
